Responsibilities
As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of development delivery. APRE is actively engaged in multiple mixed-use and adaptive reuse development projects. You will have the opportunity to be involved with the acquisition, financing, design, marketing, and execution of key projects across the US.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop a financial model and complete financial analysis of hotel, multifamily, and mixed-use acquisitions. Analyze cash flows, sensitivity analysis, and valuation models
- Hands-on in feasibility studies, underwriting, and financing, entitlements, design, construction and commissioning, marketing, lease-up, and asset management of multiple real estate projects
- Monitor development budgets and schedules across multiple projects for variance
- Manage the data and communication flow for projects
- Drive projects to completion and bring new opportunities to the firm for consideration
- Work without leasing partners including marketing plans and lease negotiations
- Assist with investor relations in creating material that will be used in marketing and reporting collateral
- Write white papers and use cases for publication to be a leader in the development field
- Serves as a member of various project teams
- Provides support for project design
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 5+ years experience or post-undergraduate study; MBA preferred
- Experience in a financial analyst role with the ability to develop complex financial models in Excel with strong attention to detail
- Multifamily development or Low-income housing development experience is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
