Project Description

Use Case: The client acquired the 486,942 sqft hospital located in St. Louis with a plan to convert it to adaptive reuse housing, student housing, classrooms, adult day healthcare, and veteran healthcare and education.

Proposal: APRE experience and expertise in adaptive reuse allowed for quickly understanding the project, providing coordination with vendors across architects, contractors, historic tax credits consultants, financing, engineers, and the city leadership to create solutions that address the community needs, as well as provide a richer reuse of the property for veteran housing, student housing, classrooms, adult day healthcare, veteran healthcare and education.

Result: Completed all predevelopment work including architectural master planning, secured historic tax credits for the property, and completed city requirements ahead of renovation work on the property.
